Berlina are an alt-rock band based in Madrid, Spain, which formed in 2007. Their music touches upon a wide variety of genres, from shoegaze to post-rock to psychedelia. Despite the undeniable pop influence, Berlina’s music tends to drift towards the experimental. Texture plays a vital role in the band’s sound, formed by layers of distortions, ethereal vocals, atmospheric soundscapes and ambitious instrumentals.
